How To Install A New Outboard Regulator Rectifier
1. Remove The Old Rectifier And Examine How It Is Connected.
2. Be Careful Not To Cut Any Wires That Can Be Re-Used With The New Setup. Otherwise, You Won’T Be Able To Install A Direct Replacement.
3. If You Get A Direct Replacement, You Should Simply Be Able To Connect The Wires To One Another.
4. If You Need To Make Modifications, Connect The Appropriate Wires Together And Solder Them To Prevent Corrosion.
5. You Can Also Use Adhesive-Lined Shrink Wrap Connectors And Seal Them With A Heat Gun.
6. Start The Engine To Test The Regulator.
