Melling M29517 Oil Pump Pickup Tube O-Ring Kit Fits 1997-2013 Ls-Based V8 Engines 4.8L 5.3L 5.7L 6.0L 6.2L One Of The Most Common Causes Of Low Oil Pressure On High Mileage Or Aged Ls Engines Is The Oil Pickup Tube O-Ring At The Oil Pump Inlet. These O-Rings Harden With Age And Heat, Eventually Allowing The Oil Pump To Pull Air In Past The Seal. This Kit From Melling Includes Both Styles/Thicknesses Of O-Rings Used On The Ls Engines As Well As Instructions To Identify Which Seal You Need To Use, Eliminating The Need To Identify Or Guess Which O-Ring You Have Before Ordering.
